Our commitment to Quality

Buying top-quality products is all about trusting your supplier, and trust is built with expert knowledge. ABENA is a supplier you can trust. We take an all-around approach to make sure that our products cover every need while being among the best in the market.

Testing and quality inspections

Being an ABENA customer is a choice of safety. Our products go through all the necessary tests to make sure that they are safe for you to use.

In our test laboratory in Denmark, we perform quality tests of our own produced and sourced products. Through random sample testing and on-site quality inspections, we carefully document parameters such as durability and strength. We do so to make sure that we meet the quality standards that our customers know us for every time.

Third party audits and certifications

For more than 20 years, we use third-party audits performed by independent audit organisations to verify our products and business operations. Today, our production facility in Denmark complies with 16 certificates to quality management, energy management, and social responsibility, among other areas.

Opening up to independent audits is our way to demonstrate how we consider all the touchpoints that ABENA directly or indirectly affect throughout our business.

Documentation

We operate in diverse markets where documentation, certifications, and standardised procedures are highly prioritised. Providing you with the required documentation is therefore not only time saving but also ensures ease of business.

Our documentation includes:

  • Declarations and certificates
  • Use and application
  • Security requirements

Caring for the environment

To us, quality goes hand in hand with environmental care. We have a long history of collaborating with various ecolabels to document that our products are produced with criteria specific to the product and/or production process.

We provide life cycle assessments (LCAs) on many of our products just as we aim to make 70% of all our products carry an ecolabel by 2030.
