ABENA's Skincare Ointment with 41% lipids is ideal for very dry and irritated skin. A series of tests have shown that the composition of the ingredients helps maintaining the skin's natural moisture balance for up to 24 hours. ABENA’s Skincare Ointment also creates a protective barrier, which improves the structure of the skin. The ointment contains allantoin for a strong soothing and hydrating effect while dimethicone creates a barrier on the skin. The very thick and rich ointment has a smooth texture that makes it easy to apply on exposed and delicate skin areas, e.g. to prevent Incontinence Associated Dermatitis (IAD). ABENA’s Skincare Ointment has been dermatologically tested, and is proven to be very gentle on the skin and thus suitable for sensitive skin.
