ABENA's Coffee-to-go cups are a good alternative to conventional single-use, plastic-lined cups. Among other things, this product is certified as home compostable according to the NF T51-800 and EN13432 standards.

Can be disposed of with normal household waste sorted according to local regulations.

Can be recycled or incinerated.

Store clean and dry.

The organic components in the barrier are part of the wet-end stages of the manufacturing processes, which means that the cup is not sealed in the conventional way whereby the plastic is heated to melting point and then cooled so as to seal the cup seams. This means that up to 1% of the cups may leak a few drops of their contents within the standard use-time. We are working continuously with our supplier to reduce this proportion to a minimum.
