Abena San Basic is our range of anatomically shaped pads with textile-like, breathable backsheet that ensures discreet protection and comfort for moderate to heavy incontinence. The anatomically shaped pads have an excellent fit that allows free movement. The effective core provides fast absorption and a dry surface, even after repeated urination. All products are fitted with leakage barriers for extra protection and the Odour Control system minimises unpleasant odours. The wetness indicator turns blue when the product is wet, indicating the right time to change.

ABENA San Basic products fit almost all users, as body shape does not have to be taken into account, since the product only fills between the legs and not around the stomach and hips. The range features a numbered and colour-coded system to make it easy to distinguish between different sizes and absorbency levels. ABENA San Basic should always be used with special fixation underwear, such as our ABENA Fix products. The fixation pants ensure that the pad is kept close to the body and reduces the risk of leakage. Pull the fixation pants up to the middle of your legs. Fold the pad lengthwise to create a bowl shape with the back facing outwards. Pass the pad between your legs from front to back. Place the top edge of the pad at the tailbone. Fold out the back of the pad horizontally to create a bowl shape between your legs. Use the wet indicator to check if the product is positioned exactly in the centre. Fold the pad out horizontally in front. Pull the fixation pants up into place.
